1. In the online shop, click on the cake design you’d like to order.

2. Select the size of cake you desire, the quantity, and add it to your cart.

3. A form will pop up. Select the date and time you wish to pick up your cake, and your cake flavor. This is also where you will choose your custom options if applicable.

4. Proceed to your shopping cart to complete your order and submit payment.

5. If you don’t receive an email confirmation, please check in with us to be sure your order was fully processed.

6. Pick up your cake on your selected date and enjoy!

• Order Everyday and Signature designs by 9am Thursday for Friday or Saturday

• Order Two-Tier and Custom designs by 9am Wednesday for Friday or Saturday.

• If you know what you would like in advance we would recommend ordering early as we close off orders when we have met our capacity for the week.

In general, we only offer Friday and Saturday pickup. Cakes picked up on Saturday can also be enjoyed on Sunday! (We don’t recommend ordering a cake with fresh flowers for the day before.) For holidays, we sometimes expand our pickup dates. All of our available dates are listed as options when placing your order.

In some cases, we can accomodate a Thursday afternoon pick-up.

We've also had good luck with customers freezing some of the designs upon pick-up and thawing them for a later date.

FREEZING INSTRUCTIONS

When you pick-up the cake, wrap your cake box in plastic wrap and put it in the freezer.

The day before your event, remove the cake to the refrigerator, keeping the plastic wrap on the box.

4-5 hours before you’d like to serve the cake, remove the cake to room temperature (70 degrees is ideal, out of the direct sun). Keep the plastic wrap on the outside of the box for a least one hour as sweat may accumulate on the outside of the plastic wrap as the cake comes to temperature.

If you notice any condensation on the cake itself, gently blot it off with a paper towel before the cake comes to room temperature.

• Our Everyday and Signature designs are not customizable. The image in the description shows what your cake will look like when you pick it up. (Please note: colors may vary slightly due to monitor and browser differences.)

• For our Custom designs, you can choose your own color scheme to fit your event.

• If you want to order a cake designed exactly to your specifications, we also offer custom cakes!

For most of our cakes, there will be an option at check-out to either add writing or a topper. For some of the two-tier designs, we do not include this option as writing or a topper would detract from the design.

Chocolate Chocolate - rich chocolate cake with bittersweet chocolate buttercream

Classic Birthday Cake - brown sugar vanilla cake with bittersweet chocolate buttercream

Chocolate Pistachio - rich chocolate cake with toasted pistachio buttercream

Lemon Lavender - lemon sour cream cake with lemon lavender buttercream

Not at this time. We are not currently able to accommodate special dietary requests, but we’d be happy to provide recommendations for bakeries in the area that can. We do have some cake flavors that do not contain nuts and we take precaution when baking, however, our kitchen is not nut-free and we cannot guarantee there will be no cross contamination.
